RUMIDE combines a great heart of worship with a unique vocal strength. The Kogi state born but Ilorin groomed artist is a songwriter of considerable depth and insight as well as a spirited vocalist who gets worshippers easily connected to the heavens.
His music ministry is the continuation of a powerful music legacy. Born into the James Rumide family where the mother was a choir member CAC Oke Isegun and the dad a guitarist. Strong lovers of music in the late 70s early 80s.
He has served on different platform and capacity ranging from President (KMC), HOD (Rhema chapel int’l churches) word college pastor, music director ( CFI) judges on several competitions platforms (manifest him, just Jesus, greatest 2tc), founding member (the roots, TosinBee, Samuel Aliyu and Rumide ) member (glory band) halal (TREM vision house).
Also Rumide has been privileged to be on same stage with Samsong, Midnight Crew, Mike Abdul, Tosin Bee, Destiny child, Bouqui, Rooftops Mc,Tim geoffery, Frank Edwards,Cobhams, Panam Percy Paul, Don Moen, Donnie Mcklurkin among many.
Rumide is a property consultant and a Business development Manager. He is happily married to Omohefe & blessed with a son.
