Jonathan McReynolds spoke to a gospel music plattform at
the 2015 Dove Awards where he shared
who his favorite rappers are and what it
means to be unashamed.
He said his favorite rappers are Trip Lee and
Lecrae. Derek Minor is also “one of my guys”
and appears on his album Life Music II:Stage
2.
When he was asked what it means to be
unashamed: “It means to walk around
boldly knowing who you are and who’s
you are,” said Reynolds. “We have definitely
so much pressure in the world to try to
keep us like everyone else, but we don’t live a normal life…”
