Dear Artiste, before you start complaining about how people are not being supportive of your music, or how no one wants to make sacrifices for you, you need to ask yourself “what am I willing to let go (sacrifice )to make my music work”. As a young artiste, I’ve had to deprive myself of alot. I remember on two different occasions , I had to sell my phones, one was to raise money to pay for a music video and the other was to raise money to pay (appreciate) an OAP for having me on radio.. Going on compulsory fasts, flying buses instead of taking cabs so I can save money and a whole lot just to raise funds for my music. *CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME * .. Hear me, if you’re not ready to sacrifice for yourself, no-one will.
