The Birth of My Song
In 2018, while I was playing the keyboard during a church service, inspiration struck, and a song was born. The words flowed from my heart, capturing the depth of love I felt at that moment:
“Monifere, Afurumginaya, Inasonka, Nafedowe.”
If this is what love feels like, then I never want to come out of it. No one can love me the way you do—I’m completely in love with you.
Each phrase expresses the same beautiful sentiment in different Nigerian languages:
Monifere: “I love you” in Yoruba
Afurumginaya: “I love you” in Igbo
Inasonka: “I love you” in Hausa
Nafedowe: “I love you” in Igala
A Little About Me
I’m a passionate lover of God, and it is by His mercy that I have the privilege to serve and worship Him. Music is a big part of my life, and I play several musical instruments. I hail from Kogi State, Nigeria, and speak the Igala language. I am blessed to fellowship at Church On Fire International and Dunamis International Gospel Center in Abuja, where I reside.
