Gospel minister Esther TonyCheta, formerly known as Delight, has released a new single titled “Mi O Le Dase.” The Yoruba expression means “I cannot do it on my own,” and the song is a heartfelt expression of complete trust and dependence on God.
“Mi O Le Dase” captures the honesty of recognising that human strength is not enough and turning to Jesus for help, strength, and guidance. The song carries the simple but powerful message of depending on God as the ultimate source of strength.
The release reflects Esther TonyCheta’s musical journey, which has included years of singing, collaborations, backing vocal performances, and other musical engagements. She began recording music in 2016 when she featured on Northern Nigerian artist Mr Harmony’s “Power in Worship.”
With its message of surrender and dependence on God, “Mi O Le Dase” serves as a heartfelt prayer for anyone who needs to be reminded that they do not have to face life in their own strength.
