Christian worship leader Jon Reddick is giving all glory to God after his wife, Rebecca, recovered from colon cancer while his worship song reached No. 1 on four Christian radio charts.
Rebecca was diagnosed with early-onset colon cancer in March 2025, the same disease that previously claimed her father’s life.
The diagnosis brought fear and uncertainty to Reddick, a devoted husband and father of seven, even as he continued encouraging others through his Christian music.
But following surgery, doctors discovered that the cancer had not spread to her lymph nodes, and she did not require additional treatment at that time.
Reflecting on his wife’s recovery, Reddick declared:
“God has healed her.”
During this difficult season, Reddick also experienced the heartbreaking loss of his younger brother.
Despite the grief and challenges, the Christian singer continued trusting God and using his music to encourage others.
His song “Holding On (Praise God)” reached the top of four Christian radio charts, marking another important milestone in his ministry.
The Bible declares in Psalm 46:1:
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
Jon Reddick’s testimony reminds us that even in seasons of sickness, grief, and uncertainty, we can continue putting our trust in Jesus Christ!
