Hulk Hogan Called His Baptism “Total Surrender to Jesus’ in a Powerful Public Expression of Faith

For decades, Hulk Hogan was known for championship victories, packed arenas, and his larger-than-lite wrestling persona. But in December 2023, he shared a deeply personal milestone with the world: his baptism at Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Largo, Florida.

At 70 years old, Hogan was baptized alongside his wife, Sky Daily. Sharing footage of the moment, he wrote: “Total surrender and dedication to Jesus is the greatest day of my life.”

Hogan died on July 24, 2025, approximately 19 months after publicly sharing his baptism. That moment remains part of his story-a public expression of faith from someone whose life had unfolded before millions.

For Christians, baptism is a powerful declaration of belonging to Jesus and walking in newness of life. It points to grace, repentance, and our need for a Savior.

His words invite a personal reflection: What would surrender to Jesus look like in our own lives? Beyond a public declaration, following Christ means trusting Him in our choices, relationships, and everyday actions.
