Nigerian gospel ministers Demilade Adesiyan, Folabi Nuel, and Jo Deep come together on “You Are Light,” a beautiful spontaneous worship song released through TY Bello’s Spontaneous Worship series. Officially released as a single on February 27, 2024, the song creates an intimate atmosphere of worship, drawing listeners’ attention to God’s nature and glory.
At its heart, “You Are Light” is a declaration of God’s light and the hope found in His presence. The song reflects the truth that God brings clarity into confusion, hope into difficult moments, and direction when the way ahead seems uncertain. It encourages believers to look to Him as the source of truth, strength, and spiritual illumination.
Through its spontaneous delivery and gentle musical arrangement, the collaboration creates room for personal reflection and heartfelt adoration. The distinct contributions of Demilade Adesiyan, Folabi Nuel, and Jo Deep complement the worship atmosphere, allowing the song to focus on expressing reverence for God rather than performance.
“You Are Light” is a fitting choice for personal devotion, prayer, and quiet moments of worship. It reminds listeners to keep their eyes on God, trust His guidance, and allow His light to lead them through every season of life.
