In In-N-Out Burger owner Lynsi Snyder is continuing a decades-long Christian tradition by keeping Bible verses printed on the company’s cups, burger wrappers, and other packaging.
While some believe religious messages should remain separate from business, Snyder has made it clear that her faith in Jesus Christ is an important part of her family’s legacy.
The tradition began in the 1980s when her late uncle, Rich Snyder, decided to include small references to Scripture on the restaurant’s packaging as a quiet expression of his Christian beliefs.
Today, customers can still discover Bible references hidden in unexpected places!
John 3:16 appears on soda cups, Proverbs 3:5 on milkshake cups, and Nahum 1:7 on Double-Double burger wrappers.
Rather than removing them, Lynsi Snyder has expanded the tradition by adding Scripture references to French fry containers, coffee cups, and other products.
The businesswoman has also spoken openly about her personal struggles and how her relationship with Jesus Christ helped her through some of the most difficult chapters of her life.
For Snyder, the Bible verses are more than decorations. They represent the faith that has shaped her family and continues to influence her leadership.
The Bible declares in Proverbs 3:5:
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
Her decision demonstrates how a business owner can openly express personal religious convictions while serving customers from many different backgrounds.
