Apostle Arome Osayi has warned believers against pursuing wealth through corruption, saying success should never come at the expense of righteousness.
“Don’t make wealth out of corruption. Your soul will suffer when it matters,” he said.
Osayi encouraged Christians to manage faithfully where they are and trust God rather than compromising their convictions for financial gain.
“We must win by righteousness. If we win, it must be by righteousness.”
Drawing from Jesus’ teaching about denying oneself and taking up the cross, Osayi said spiritual progress requires believers to refuse desires that conflict with God’s will.
“Your soul will desire things that you will refuse to give it,” he said.
According to him, self-denial is not meaningless loss. He taught that what believers surrender for Christ carries an eternal reward greater than anything the world can provide.
Osayi further argued that a believer’s willingness to deny ungodly desires in this life has significance beyond the present age.
His message was clear: do not trade righteousness for temporary gain. Trust God, embrace self-denial and choose integrity even when compromise appears easier.
