It is because a lot of people go to God’s presence and start complaining. Some complained over what God has partially done for them; instead of thanking him for the ones he has done. While others complain over what God has not done for them forgotten the unseen.
David said in Psalm 103:2 “Bless the LORD o my soul, and forget not all his benefits”.
And in the next verses he took time to write God’s benefits towards us. So my dear, it is good to thank God for what he has done, what he is doing and what he is about to do.
