Millions of people recognize Tyler Blevins, better known as Ninja, as one of the biggest personalities in online gaming. But lately, he has been drawing attention for something that has nothing to do with video games.
His faith in Jesus Christ.
Throughout 2025, Ninja began speaking more openly about his Christian beliefs with his enormous online audience. During a livestream, he made his position clear with a simple declaration:
“Jesus is King!”
He has also shared that he and his wife, Jessica, attend church every Sunday. He is making prayer and Bible reading part of his morning routine as he seeks to grow in his relationship with God.
What makes his comments particularly interesting is his willingness to acknowledge that he is still growing. Ninja has discussed working on his anger and allowing his faith to influence his everyday decisions.
And that is an important part of the Christian walk. Following Jesus is not about claiming to be perfect. It is about surrendering to Him, recognizing our need for His grace, and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform our hearts and lives.
2 Corinthians 5:17 reminds us that anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old has passed away, and new life has begun.
When someone with an audience as enormous as Ninja’s openly talks about Jesus, it creates opportunities for the Gospel to reach people who might never walk into a church or hear a sermon.
