
Caleb University, Imota, Lagos, has appointed Foluke Adeboye as its new Chancellor, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s governance. Pastor Folu Adeboye is the wife of Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
The university’s management approved the appointment, which was formally confirmed in a statement issued by its Information, Media and Publication Specialist, Olawale Adekoya.
Pastor Foluke Adeboye succeeds the late Chief Edwin Clark, former Federal Commissioner for Information and prominent Niger Delta leader, who previously served as the university’s ceremonial head.
The announcement follows her conferment of an Honorary Doctor of Humanity (Honoris Causa) during the institution’s 15th convocation ceremony held last Wednesday in Imota. As Chancellor, she will preside over convocations and confer degrees, serving as the ceremonial head of the university
