Apostle Michael Orokpo has taught that the kingdom of God is fundamentally about God’s reign over people and territories.
“If there is no reigning, there is no kingdom,” he said.
Orokpo explained that a kingdom involves a king exercising authority over a domain, and that domain includes both people and territory.
According to him, the present emphasis of God’s kingdom is first on transforming people and bringing them under God’s government.
“If His reign is not over you, you have not yet become critical in His kingdom,” he said.
He argued that when people come into alignment with God, the environments and territories they influence can also be affected.
His central message was that the kingdom of God is not merely about belonging to God, but living under His rule and allowing that rule to shape the world around you.
