Nigerian gospel singer Judikay has shared a heartfelt message about the importance of appreciating the people God places in our lives.
According to her, humans are gifts to one another, and this truth can be seen throughout Scripture. She noted that God sent Barnabas when Paul needed acceptance, used a widow to sustain Elijah and placed people along Joseph’s path to help fulfil His purpose for him.
“We pray, ‘God, provide for me,’ and then He sends a person. We pray, ‘God, help me,’ and He gives us an idea that requires people to carry the vision,” she said.
Judikay explained that anyone blessed with people who genuinely see, love, support, pray for and invest in them is blessed for life.
She encouraged people to thank God for their friends, pastors, parents, partners and divine helpers, especially those who stood by them when they could not carry themselves.
The singer also challenged everyone to become the kind of person others would thank God for sending into their lives.
“Stand with somebody. If you can support them financially, do it. If you can support them spiritually, do it. There are things money can solve, and there are things only prayers can solve. Do not trivialise one for the other,” she added.
Perhaps today, instead of asking God for another blessing, thank Him for the blessing of the people already in your life.
