South Korean researcher YoungHoon Kim, who claims to hold the world’s highest IQ record with a score of 276, has publicly expressed his Christian faith, declaring his belief in Jesus Christ as God.
On June 17, 2025, Kim reportedly shared a statement affirming his Christian convictions and connecting his public reputation for intelligence with his belief in Jesus.
“As the world’s highest IQ record holder, i believe that Jesus Christ is God, the way and the truth and the life,” he declared.
Kim, who has received recognition from several high-IQ organisations, has attracted public attention for his claims about exceptional intelligence.
However, his reported IQ score of 276 and claim to be the world’s most intelligent person are not universally recognised or independently established by a globally accepted ranking system.
Beyond his statement about Jesus Christ, Kim also shared another declaration reflecting the importance of Christianity in his worldview.
“Christ is my logic,” he stated.
The South Korean researcher further expressed his desire to use his public platform to encourage more people to embrace Christianity.
His remarks reflect his personal conviction that intellectual pursuits and religious faith can coexist.
Kim’s profession of faith has attracted interest among Christians, particularly because of his public claims about intelligence and his willingness to speak openly about his belief in Jesus Christ.
