ABEOKUTA, NIGERIA — Kingdomboiz Outreach Foundation reached out to residents of Abule Itoku community on Thursday, August 27, 2026, with the message of the Gospel and food support as part of its commitment to sharing the love of Jesus Christ through evangelism and practical acts of compassion.
The outreach brought members of the Kingdomboiz team together with residents of the community for a time of interaction, preaching, prayer and sharing of food.
During the evangelism session, residents were given an opportunity to ask questions before an invitation was made for anyone who personally wanted to give their life to Jesus Christ.
A significant number of those present responded by raising their hands.
One notable moment came when some residents appeared to encourage others who had not raised their hands to do so. The outreach team immediately emphasized that accepting Christ should be a personal decision and that no one should be pressured into responding.
The discussion subsequently developed into a conversation about Christianity, Islam and traditional religion, reflecting the religious diversity within the community.
A community leader, identified as the Baale, explained that residents of different religious backgrounds had lived peacefully together and often participated in one another’s celebrations.
In response, the Kingdomboiz Outreach team explained its Christian message, stressing that the outreach was not intended to create hostility between people of different faiths or simply persuade residents to adopt a religious label.
The team shared its belief that salvation is found through a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, referencing Christ’s words in John 14:6: “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
The speaker also shared his personal experience of coming from a Muslim background, explaining that his message was about what he believes Jesus accomplished in reconciling humanity to God rather than hostility toward another religion.
Following the explanation, the Baale also raised his hand in response to the invitation to receive Christ.
According to the outreach team, many of those present responded to the Gospel, while their details were collected to support future follow-up and discipleship.
Beyond the evangelistic aspect of the visit, residents expressed appreciation for the team’s presence and encouraged Kingdomboiz Outreach Foundation to return regularly.
In a particularly significant request, community members told the team that future visits should not depend on whether food or other welfare materials were available. They encouraged the ministry to continue coming to preach and interact with them even when there was nothing material to distribute.
After the meeting, residents also spoke about some of the practical challenges facing the community, including the need for improved access to water and electricity.
The outreach therefore provided the team with an opportunity not only to preach and distribute food, but also to listen directly to the people and better understand some of the needs within Abule Itoku.
Kingdomboiz Outreach Foundation said the experience reinforces its commitment to taking the Gospel beyond the walls of the church while demonstrating the love of Christ through practical service to communities.
