LET THIS MIND BE IN YOU !
Thank God for the the new creation and it’s realities. Thank God we are made in His image.
Thank God we are seated together with Him in heavenly places. Thank God He has made us partakers of His divine nature. Thank God He has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. But as though Paul the Apostle knew that a time will come when we will realize and subsequently emphasize our new covenant identities, sometimes to a degree where we even rob shoulders with God, even dragging worship with Him, He says to us.. LET THIS MIND BE IN YOU…. “You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.”Philippians 2:5 NLT”, “Have this same attitude in yourselves which was in Christ Jesus [look to Him as your example in selfless humility],”PHILIPPIANS 2:5 AMP” So what is this mind, this attitude, this mentality..? “6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:” “who, although He existed in the form and unchanging essence of God [as One with Him, possessing the fullness of all the divine attributes–the entire nature of deity], did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped or asserted [as if He did not already possess it, or was afraid of losing it];” PHILIPPIANS 2:6 AMP Please note, that this verse is Post- cross, post- resurrection etc. Paul said this In the New Testament after Christ’s death, resurrection and ascension. And He says to us, LET THIS MIND BE IN YOU. That is to say, “Have the SAME kind of attitude”. Saints? Saints? we may be seated in heavenly places with Him, but GOD IS STILL GOD all by Himself.
So let us all HUMBLE OURSELVES.
