QUESTION: Is it right to pray 4 an increase in grace? I.e lord please increase your grace in  me.

  1. Why not, we are all humman and are bound to sin, but the bible say’s in the book of Romans 5:20-21 20 Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, 21 so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

  2. In spiritual things, your ability and impact increases as you grow in the knowledge of God and His ways. Remember Psalms says God revealed His ways(knowledge) to moses and His acts(result) to the Isrealites. We can see the difference in stability, conviction, impact and growth in God. Therefore, instead of just praying for increased grace, press in more to grow in knowledge and understanding of the ways or God. And His grace will be multiplied on you. 2peter 1:2 says; Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of our Lord… Hope this helps you. God bless you!

    come boldly to the throne of grace that you may obtain mercy and find grace to help ,in time of need

  6. It’s not totally wrong to pray for an increase in God’s grace. But it just shows your maturity level about God’s Word. What’s GRACE? It is more than just an unmerited favoure; it is God’s dynamic working ability in a Man’s life. The bible says “Grow in God’s Grace..2Peter 3:18.” The volume of how much of God’s Word you have received and put to work consistently will determine your level of God’s Grace. Stop praying for increase grace and start taking in more of God’s Word, that’s how your grace level can increase. God bless you!

  7. Very much right, I think you should do it daily. Paul was speaking he said that you may grow in grace and in the knowledge of the revelation of God. When you ask for grace what you are asking for is fresh anointing. I’ll recomend fresh anointing by kenneth E hagi, it will explain more. Bless you sir

  9. Well, grace increases as the accurate knowledge of God increases as 2nd pet 1;2 says. Every thing u need is sealed in ur spirit by d holyghost. Its not like God will be pouring more grace on you on a daily basis, but as Jesus is being revealed via studying of God’s word and prayer, grace is multiplied!
