The 10th anniversary of the Legacy Conference 2016 will have a special feature, a Lecrae “Unashamed” book signing on July 23 from 2:30 – 4:00p.m. at Garfield Park.
According to Brian Dye, Lecrae was a crucial part of helping the festival launch 10 years ago. The signing is also free with an admission to the Legacy event.
Legacy 2016 will run from July 21 – 23 and the year’s theme is Missio Dei and will feature performances, tournaments, and sermons.
“What have we been called to pour our lives out for?” Legacy’s official website reads. “What is our mission? Furthermore, how do we do that in increasingly challenging environments? Missio Dei is Latin for ‘The mission of God.’ We, the people of God, have been called to be on the mission of God in making disciples of all nations. Legacy Conference 2016 seeks to equip Christian leaders in the urban context to do just that.”
