Emotional reactions have continued pouring in online after a heartbreaking incident in Rivers State reportedly claimed the lives of three children from the same family.
According to reports, the tragic incident happened in the Ogbunabali area of Port Harcourt after a woman allegedly learning how to drive lost control of a vehicle and rammed into a residential building where the children were staying.
The grieving mother, Amarachi Promise Esomonu, has since cried out publicly for justice, saying her life has completely changed since the incident happened.
In emotional videos circulating online, the distraught mother was seen weeping as she spoke about waking up every morning expecting to prepare her children for school, only to remember they are gone.
Reports say the children were aged 10, four, and three years old. The heartbreaking story has triggered widespread sympathy across Nigerian social media, with many users expressing anger over reckless driving and poor safety awareness.
The Rivers State Police Command reportedly confirmed the incident and stated that investigations had been ordered into the matter.
Many Nigerians online are also calling for stricter rules around learner driving and better supervision to prevent similar tragedies from happening again.
