Apostle Joshua Selman has encouraged believers not to allow comparison and pressure to push them into decisions they are not ready for.
“If you can’t afford the phone, be patient,” he said.
“If you cannot afford the house, get your one room, clean it… let the naysayers talk while you grow.”
He also addressed the pressure many people feel when they see friends relocating abroad or achieving things faster than them.
His repeated counsel was simple:
“be patient.”
Not everyone’s journey will move at the same speed.
You do not have to prove anything by buying what you cannot afford, living beyond your means or rushing into opportunities just because others appear ahead.
Start where you are.
Take care of what you have.
Keep growing.
And refuse to let comparison make you despise your present season.
your current level is not your final level. be patient.
