The management of late gospel minister Toluwani Sings has issued a public disclaimer over a fundraising post circulating online and asking people to contribute money for his wife and children.
In a statement shared through the singer’s verified Instagram page, the team said the fundraising appeal is not authorised and urged members of the public not to engage with it.
“This is not true please. please let’s report this page massively.”
The team added that should there be any official appeal for financial support for the family, such information would be communicated directly through Toluwani Sings’ verified page.
The disclaimer comes amid an outpouring of sympathy following the gospel minister’s passing, with supporters continuing to send prayers and condolences to his wife, children and loved ones.
Members of the public are therefore advised to verify any donation request connected to the family before sending money or sharing fundraising links.
