Pastor David Ibiyeomie has challenged believers to examine whether their dreams and ambitions genuinely include God and His purposes.
He warned against pursuing success in a way that leaves God completely outside the picture.
“When you see a man talking about his dreams and he does not say anything about God, his crash is just around the corner,” he said.
Ibiyeomie also questioned believers who pray for extraordinary wealth without considering what that wealth would accomplish beyond personal comfort.
“You are saying God should make you a multi-billionaire, but what is your Kingdom dream?” he asked.
According to him, financial success should be connected to a larger purpose, including advancing God’s work and becoming a blessing to others.
His message was simple: do not pursue wealth only for yourself. Let your dreams include God, purpose and the impact your success can make in His Kingdom.
