Pastor Bolaji Idowu has urged people to grow in wisdom so they can recognise unhealthy patterns before those patterns lead to poor decisions.
“When you grow, you make better decisions,” he said.
Speaking particularly about relationships, Idowu advised women to evaluate a man before becoming emotionally invested.
“Before you fall in love, you evaluate him,” he said.
He also used friendship and marriage as examples, saying people often know the patterns that lead them into trouble but continue engaging them anyway.
According to him, wisdom involves recognising those patterns early enough to respond differently.
His central message was that growth and discernment help people make better decisions before emotions or habits take over.
