Apostle Femi Lazarus has encouraged unmarried individuals to appreciate their season of singleness rather than viewing it as wasted time while waiting for marriage.
Speaking about relationships and marriage, the cleric challenged the belief that life is on hold until a person gets married.
“And who told you that your time as a single while waiting is a wasted time? it is an opportunity,” he said.
According to Lazarus, being single presents opportunities that should not be overlooked because of the desire to get married.
He further suggested that many married people sometimes wish they could experience certain aspects of their single years again.
“If we gather many married people, scarcely will you find a 10% who don’t wish to have the opportunity to be single again,” he stated.
The pastor urged singles not to place unnecessary pressure on themselves or rush into marriage simply because they feel their waiting period is taking too long.
“Don’t rush yourself,” he advised.
His message encourages unmarried individuals to recognise the value of their present season rather than measuring their progress in life solely by their marital status.
