Apostle Arome Osayi has taught that being prophetic does not mean living without order, accountability or submission to divine instructions.
According to Osayi, there are specific requirements connected to a person’s God-given assignment, and some instructions may need to be obeyed even when they do not immediately make sense.
Using Jesus as an example, he referenced Christ’s words about the need to “fulfil all righteousness,” explaining that Jesus was committed to fulfilling what had been written concerning Him.
“The prophetic people are not lawless. They are not people without reference,” Osayi said.
Rather, he described prophetic people as those who operate under “strong government,” remaining submitted to God’s order even when obedience appears inconvenient or difficult to understand.
His message emphasised that spiritual calling should not produce independence from order. In his teaching, genuine prophetic living is demonstrated not only through revelation but also through disciplined obedience to God’s instructions.
