Apostle Joshua Selman has cautioned believers about unnecessary hatred and conflict, using the biblical story of Mordecai and Haman to illustrate how relationships and favour can work in unexpected ways.
He explained that when God decided to honour Mordecai, the king called Haman, the very man who hated him, and instructed him to carry out the honour.
“When God wants to bless you, He can make the person they honour honour you,” Selman said.
He then gave a striking warning: “Before you hate a man, verify who loves him.”
According to him, the person you may need for an opportunity tomorrow could have a strong relationship with the same person you have chosen to fight today.
“If the person to give you a job likes the person you don’t like, you’re in trouble,” he said.
His message highlights the importance of wisdom, honour and avoiding unnecessary battles, because you may not always know the relationships God can use to open doors in your life.
