American contemporary Christian music artist and worship leader Chris Tomlin welcomes the Christmas season with “It’s Christmas Time Again,” a festive song celebrating the warmth, joy, and togetherness that make the season special. Released on October 9, 2026, the song serves as the lead single from his upcoming Christmas album, Good News of Great Joy (Christmas Songs of Worship), scheduled for release on November 6, 2026.
Unlike a traditional worship anthem, “It’s Christmas Time Again” captures the nostalgic feeling of celebrating Christmas with loved ones. Tomlin shared that he wanted to create a song that evokes the warmth of family gatherings and the excitement that returns with the festive season. This personal approach offers listeners a chance to reflect on cherished memories and the joy of being together.
The song also ushers in a new Christmas project that brings together seasonal favourites and fresh music centred on the message of Jesus’ birth. Through this release, Tomlin invites listeners to enjoy the beauty of the season while remembering the good news and hope at the heart of Christmas.
“It’s Christmas Time Again” is a joyful soundtrack for the festive season, celebrating treasured moments with family and friends while pointing listeners towards the hope and wonder that Christmas brings.
