American singer Justin Bieber led quite a number of celebrities in prayers at the #HandInHand fund raising event for victims of hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
Standing alongside was Pastor John Gray, the associate pastor of Joel Osteen’s Lakewood church, the Pop singer, who is now a dedicated Christian, reminded attendees that God “will guide us through the storm.”
He told the millions watching the event at home that, ‘though we don’t yet understand the purpose of the storm, we know you will guide us through the storm.”
According to reports, the event, attended by A-list celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney and Julia Roberts, has raised more than $44 million.
