Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has encouraged Christians not to allow the opinions of people or the fear of missing opportunities to determine their decisions.
Speaking in a recent message, the clergyman urged believers to focus on doing what is right rather than becoming people-pleasers.
“Don’t be a man pleaser. Do what’s right. He doesn’t speak for you. It’s just a matter of time,” Pastor Chris said.
Addressing the concern that standing by one’s convictions could result in missed opportunities, he added: “Someone says, ‘Oh brother, you missed the opportunities.’ No, I don’t miss opportunities. Hallelujah. I’m on God’s timetable. I run on God’s schedule.”
His message emphasized trusting God’s timing rather than allowing pressure from others to dictate one’s choices.
