Members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) have been advised to stop uploading the General Overseer’s messages on social media.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye has a new message for the members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

Speaking to his congregation at the RCCG National Young Adults and Youth Convention 2016, tagged “Vessels unto Honour”, the General Overseer pleaded with his members to stop putting up videos of him.

He also urged the youth to stop quoting his messages on social media.

Spare me the problem. I’m not talking to you so that you can put me on YouTube,” he said.

This plea comes after the popular pastor has received a lot of backlash from social media over his messages.

He recently got attacked after advising young men not to marry lazy women, women that can not cook or pray for at least one hour.

“Don’t marry a girl who is lazy! Don’t marry a girl who cannot cook, she needs to know how to do chores and cook because you cannot afford to be eating out all the time”, he stated.

His critics included the daughter of Victor Omololu Olunloyo, former governor of Oyo State, Kemi Olunloyo,

To all of these, he explained that his messages are not for everyone, urging people to ask God for their personal messages.

“My messages are not for everybody. So I plead with you, ask God to speak to you specifically,” he wrote on Twitter.

Pastor Adeboye is highly revered amongst spiritual leaders in the world, hence the close attention to his messages.
