Charlie Kirk used the symbolism of wedding attire to describe what he believed marriage should mean for a man.
According to him, marriage represents “the death of the bachelor mindset”—leaving behind promiscuity, a wandering eye, inappropriate conversations with other women and the attitude of simply doing whatever one wants.
“You’re saying goodbye to your previous self,” he said.
His message was that marriage should mark the beginning of a new level of commitment, maturity, faithfulness and responsibility, rather than simply a change in relationship status.
