Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the founder and senior pastor of Salvation Ministries, has spoken about the value of the church’s property in Alabama, saying it is worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
The pastor made the statement while highlighting what he described as the remarkable things God has done for the ministry, particularly through its properties and expansion outside Nigeria.
Salvation Ministries acquired a former Central Baptist Church property in Tarrant, Alabama, in December 2021 for a symbolic $10. The property was reported at the time to have 51,000 square feet of building space, two sanctuaries, multiple offices and rooms, an institutional kitchen, an indoor gymnasium, children’s ministry facilities, parking areas and other facilities. It was also reported to have been insured for $7 million.
Ibiyeomie has continued to point to the Alabama property as an example of what he considers God’s favour and provision for the ministry.
His latest remark has drawn attention because of the significant value he places on the church’s property and the growth of Salvation Ministries internationally.
