Dr. Paul Enenche has warned that excessive chatting and constant pressure to respond to messages can quietly consume valuable time.
“One of the greatest time wasters of our generation is social media,” he said.
Enenche argued that owning a phone does not mean being permanently available to everyone.
“You bought the phone; the phone did not buy you,” he said.
He encouraged people to use features such as airplane mode, silent mode, Do Not Disturb and even blocking when necessary to protect periods of prayer, study, thinking and rest.
According to him, people need uninterrupted time to pray, study, think, plan and simply have “me time.”
His central message was that your time belongs to you, and protecting it is part of protecting your life and purpose.
