Renowned Nigerian gospel minister Nathaniel Bassey has shared an encouraging prayer for people who have experienced rejection, doubt or disrespect from others.
“Let me pray this for someone out there. It’s not for everyone. Very soon, those who did not believe in you and looked down on you will look up to you,” he wrote.
However, the gospel minister added that when that moment of elevation arrives, it should not become an opportunity for revenge.
“And when that time comes, instead of paying them back, you will do them good and show mercy,” he continued.
His message is a reminder that elevation should produce humility, kindness and mercy, not bitterness.
